Subscription Terms

Our Premium offers

GitQuest offers optional plans to remove ads and support the development of the App. All educational content (investigations, academy, glossary, daily exercises) remains fully free, with or without a subscription.

Prices are listed in euros, inclusive of applicable taxes where required. Prices in other currencies are automatically determined by Apple based on your territory.

What's included

All three plans grant:

• complete ad removal (banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads);
• faster lives regeneration (5 minutes instead of 60);
• free access to XP boosts previously available through ads;
• direct access to investigation solutions without ads;
• direct support to an independent developer.

Automatic renewal

Weekly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account will be charged the same amount for the next period, unless the price changes with prior notice.

The "Lifetime Supporter" one-time purchase does not renew and is charged only once.

How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple account:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad;
2. Tap your name at the top of the screen;
3. Tap Subscriptions;
4. Select GitQuest and tap Cancel Subscription.

The subscription remains active until the end of the already-paid period, then no longer renews. Uninstalling the App does not cancel the subscription.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one directly at reportaproblem.apple.com (opens in a new window). GitQuest's developer cannot issue refunds directly; Apple decides on a case-by-case basis.

EU right of withdrawal

Under Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code (transposing EU Directive 2011/83/EU), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content delivered electronically when you expressly agree that performance begins immediately and waive your right of withdrawal. By activating a subscription or a one-time purchase, you explicitly request immediate performance and waive your right of withdrawal.

Supporting an independent developer

I'm Anais, an independent developer. GitQuest is a solo project I've built from scratch, driven by one conviction: learning Git should be accessible to everyone, for free, without barriers.

GitQuest's educational content — every investigation, the academy, the glossary, daily exercises — stays and will stay free. Subscriptions and the « Lifetime Supporter » one-time purchase exist to:

• let me spend more time on development;
• cover technical costs (hosting, translation, audio, testing);
• ship new free content regularly;
• never lock educational features behind a paywall.

If GitQuest helped you learn or saved you time, Supporter mode is the best way to let me know. But honestly: if it's not in your budget, keep using it for free. That's exactly why this project exists.
